The Educational Support Program
The Educational Support Program for the Chen Initiative focuses on empowering adolescents and young adults through a comprehensive approach to education and personal development. This initiative aims to address the unique challenges faced by young people, particularly in underserved communities, by providing free lessons to college admission seekers preparing for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
The Free JAMB Lessons Program is a key requirement for gaining admission into universities and other tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This program is designed to provide targeted academic support and equip students with the skills they need to excel in this critical exam, especially for those from underserved backgrounds. Depending on students ‘ academic tracks, it features:
Subject-specific tutoring: Focused on lessons in core JAMB subjects, including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Government.
Experienced Instructors: Trained tutors and certified educators skilled in JAMB exam content and exam-taking strategies.
Exam Strategy and Practice: Extensive use of past JAMB questions for practice to expose students to common question formats and topics frequently tested.
Digital Learning Resources: JAMB CBT (Computer-Based Test) Training including special sessions to familiarize students with the computer-based format of the JAMB exam, including hands-on practice with digital tools.
